“CollaborationCafe” is a collaborative project between the technology department, art, language arts, and math. With Mrs. Stewart’s guidance, pairs of 5th grade students have created restaurants. Activities include devising a theme, name, and menu, designing a logo, researching costs involved, generating spreadsheets, constructing the restaurant’s storefront, and writing, producing and videotaping commercials. This project brings real world experience to the classroom.
